Our Grade 10 students completed their work experience last week. Take a moment to watch the video on our website. It shows the wide variety of activities our students participated in and their reflections on the experience. Students had the opportunity of experiencing the real world of work thanks to the support of over 50 local organisations and businesses including those owned by Sekolah Ciputra Alumni. During the thank you function on Friday afternoon, it was great to see many students having the chance of pitching ideas to improve the business they worked in. The concept of adding value to an existing product is important to any would be entrepreneur and it was impressive to note the confidence our students had in making their recommendations.
Congratulations to our IBDP musicians who performed so well in their concert on Friday night. These students, Luis, Alexander, Vicentius and Louisa are wonderfully talented and put together a fabulous programme.
Congratulations also to our High School team who competed in the SIS swim meet over the weekend and our basketballers who hosted a tournament on Friday night.
Our attention turns this week to the UNAS preparation and finishing the week with the PYP exhibition on Friday. Take the opportunity of looking at the way the students have organised their work to demonstrate the learning process they have undertaken, it is very impressive. I look forward to seeing you there.
Finally, a link to our school survey was sent to all parents last week. Your feedback and suggestions are valuable and extremely helpful as we constantly strive to further improve our school. If you haven’t already done so, please complete this survey here.
Have a great week!
