News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

| May 14, 2018

Dear Parents, Students, Teachers and Staff,

The events of last Sunday have been difficult to understand and impacts us all. As a community, it is a time for us to think of those effected, and keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Our vision is one of hope for a positive future where tolerance prevails and diversity is celebrated.

This was one of the reasons why I was so impressed with the World Scholar’s Cup that was held in the school over the weekend. We hosted over 500 participants, support staff and guests for the Surabaya round. This was a celebration of internationalism, diversity and optimism. It demonstrated all that is good in our community. We will post a video, made by our students, of the event on the website.  If you didn’t make it over the weekend, this will be a great opportunity to see  what a wonderful event it was.

At times like this, it is important to maintain an optimistic focus and continue to be kind and tolerant to others.
