Elementary School

The Elementary Schools Extra Curricular Programme is called Special Interest Groups (SIG). This is an after-school programme where students have many opportunities to explore and extend their interests and talents. The activities can vary depending on student participation. A typical year will include; Ballet, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Acoustic Guitar, Futsal, Basketball, Modern/Contemporary Dance, Robotics Programme, Chess, Hockey

High School

At Sekolah Ciputra, extra-curricular activities build students skills and provide opportunities to have fun and make new friends. Again, depending on students participation, will determine the activities on offer.

Special Talent Activities

Maths Club
Science Club (research and experiments)
Language Club (poetry reading, writing)
Music Club (ensemble, band, choir)

Lunchtime Activities

Students can join in lunchtime competitions such as soccer, basketball, chess and futsal. Often organized by OSIS (the student leadership programme), the games are supervised by teachers. These popular competitions run during each term and the winners are awarded certificates at the end-of-term assembly.

After-School Activities

These activities are run after school (3.00 – 4.00 pm) by volunteer teachers or outside providers. Recent activities have included Football Skills (provided by an accredited coach), Volleyball for Girls, Mountaineering Prep, Table Tennis, Basketball for Boys and Girls, Traditional Dance, Photography, Chinese and Praise and Worship. Some of these activities may require a small fee to participate.

Saturday Activities

Preparation for events like the World Scholar’s Cup or Model United Nations may occur on Saturday mornings to give time for rehearsals and practice.

Saturday morning sport activities are designed for students who want intensive and regular training sessions in basketball or soccer and are run according to age and gender. Sport activities run every Saturday morning     (08.00 am-12.00 pm). There is a small fee to participate.
