Dear Parents, Students and Staff,

It was lovely to watch the PYP Mini Production on Friday morning. The event was truly student driven with most of the material produced and performed by the students. The message about sustainability was also a very important one and was presented to the audience in an encouraging and positive way. The performance was very slick and professional with the students at ease, demonstrating their confidence in a production setting. It was also lovely to see so many parents in attendance and the very supportive behaviour of the audience. Thank you to everyone involved.

On Friday afternoon we began our basketball games with the senior boys and girls away to SIS. It was great to be playing our neighbouring school and we are happy to see such good sportsmanship demonstrated.

Saturday morning saw the beginning of the Model United Nations (MUN), an event that really helps students develop a global perspective. This was highly organised and gave students the opportunity to learn how to research and represent a position and an interest. Again, thank you to the student and staff organisers. On a similar note, the World Scholars Cup is coming back to Sekolah Ciputra after a three-year hiatus. This has always been a popular and fun event and we’re looking forward to the 13th and 4th of May.

Finally, all the best to the Grade 12 students for their mock examinations.  This will be a challenging time, but we know you will come away stronger and better prepared.

Have a great week.
