News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear Parents, Students and Staff,

Congratulations to everyone who help prepare, produce and perform the wonderful production, “Ada Apa Dengan Cinta”(AADC).  The cast and their support put on two wonderful performances to an appreciative audience. It is only in going to an event like this that you begin to understand the scope of excellence and interconnectedness within the school. There was wonderful teamwork, precision, individual talent and collaboration on display. The crew behind the scenes did a wonderful job and the whole production was one that we can all fell very proud of. Well done everyone.

Well done to the Grade 4 and 5 students for their very successful camps. There were some very nervous students, (and parents) at the beginning of the camp but the students enjoyed wonderful experiences that will help them to grow and also to develop independence and resilience.

As one event ends another begins. We look forward to seeing high quality visual and performing arts in this week’s continuum arts festival. This will showcase art from the early years all the way through to grade 12. It will give us the opportunity to appreciate art and the many developing talents in the school. On Friday the 10th we can enjoy the continuum performing arts performances in Ciputra Hall from 6.00pm. We will also see who wins the PYP Executive Principal’s Art award and the High School Executive Director’s award. It is nice to note that, in keeping with the strong relationships within the Ciputra Group, that the Grade 12 exhibition will be held at Ciputra University.

On a slightly different note, we wish our junior girls basketball team all the best of luck for their friendly game of basketball with SIS. We also hope that the grade 10 students enjoy their work experience week and that it helps guide them in their future choices.

Have a great week.
