News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,

This past week has been both exciting and inspiring for our community. We were proud to showcase Sekolah Ciputra at our exhibition in Ciputra World Mall. The response was excellent, and we look forward to welcoming families again during our Open Days next week, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. As the only school in Surabaya offering the full continuum of International Baccalaureate programmes and being WASC accredited, Sekolah Ciputra provides an education of international quality and recognition. We are also delighted to report that our High School currently has waiting lists. This means that enrolment in our Early Years and Elementary guarantees a place all the way through to graduation. In addition, there are significant discounts available for new enrolments during this period.

Another highlight this week was the induction of our senior students into our international award-winning National Honor Society chapter. This is a wonderful recognition of academic excellence, leadership and service, and we are immensely proud of our students for their commitment to the IB Learner Profile attributes of being principled, caring and balanced.

Looking ahead, we are preparing for the upcoming joint WASC and IBO visit. Having successfully completed the preliminary review stage, we now look forward to engaging with parents, students and staff in this important process. Accreditation ensures that our school continues to benchmark itself against international best practice, giving our students qualifications and learning experiences that are globally respected.

Grade 8 students have their national assessment simulation this week. We encourage them to demonstrate their well-developed skills and knowledge to the best of their ability.

We are also excited to confirm that our international camp to Vietnam will take place. Experiences such as this broaden our students’ horizons, help them develop intercultural understanding, and strengthen their ability to act as global citizens – fully in line with our school’s vision and the IB mission.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we continue to work together to provide the very best learning environment for our students.

Have a great week!
