As the culmination of the Charity event in PYP, the Student Council or STUCO team went to 3 orphanages in April 2023 to donate the collection of 100th day of school charity items (non-perishable items) and from the Chinese New Year angpao collection.

100 non-perishable donations for charity were held at the beginning of semester 2 which was on January 11th, 2023 to celebrate mathematics week and 100th day of school. Then, we raised Rp 16,522,500 in total from both the Elementary and Early Years from the Chinese New Year Celebration-angpao collection on January 20th, 2023.

We went to 3 orphanages:

• On Thursday, April 13th, 2023 we went to Panti Asuhan Ulul Albab in Jl. Manukan Karya No.1 A- 16, Manukan Kulon to celebrate Bulan Ramadhan when our moslem friends were fasting. STUCO joined a PYP 3 Moslem class. This was a great opportunity to show tolerance in a real situation.
• On Friday, April 28th, 2023 we went to Panti Asuhan Santo Yakobus Manukan Surabaya and also to Panti Asuhan Sumber Kasih We divided STUCO into 2 teams to go there to practice sharing and caring.

We have spent all the donations well and meaningfully. This event was an example of students at Sekolah Ciputra taking action and helping other children in need. From students-By students-To students. We are very happy when the small things we can do makes them smile so much. It is very humbling and makes us appreciate how fortunate we are.
