Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,
Welcome back everyone. We hope you had a great holiday break and a very happy Easter. We look forward to a strong final term and continued progress towards a re-opening of the school for face to face teaching. As I mentioned previously, progress is being made. A number of our staff received their first vaccination last week and plans are being put in place to vaccinate us all. This is coupled with a city wide roll out for those over 60. We are aware a number of other towns and cities have partially re-opened their schools and we are looking forward to doing the same.
In the meantime, we get on with the serious business of Term 4. This week the High School has parent interviews which provide a great opportunity to focus upon developing goals for a strong finish to the year. Most High School classes face their assessments soon and we will also have the final round of MAP assessments for Grades 3, 6 and 9. Our student groups have also organised a range of social and service activities for their fellow students.
We will also be issuing the parent survey which gives us wonderful feedback on the progress the school is making as well as giving us insight into new priorities. We strongly encourage you to participate to give us this valuable feedback. We look forward to working together and enjoying another strong term.
Welcome back and have a great week.
