News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

Our students are inspirational!

On Thursday and Friday, we had representatives from UK and Canadian Universities at school talking with our senior students. We are fortunate as we were the only school that these representatives visited-their other seminars were held at hotels in Jakarta and Surabaya. Both university representatives were lavish in their praise about the confidence and self-assurance that our students demonstrated. It is easy to be proud of them as they move from one chapter in their educational journey to another.

Speaking of being proud of our school and the achievements of our students, the second Open Day (8:00 am until 3:30 pm) which combines with the MYP Personal Project exhibition provides an opportunity to experience the wonderful educational journey the Grade 10 students have taken. The depth and breadth of achievement will be amazing. These students will showcase their learning journeys with a real world application. Many of the projects demonstrate a keen understanding of the design process and of the spirit of entrepreneurship. It is a celebration of learning not to be missed. We welcome you all to come along from 12:00 pm.

Another highlight next Wednesday, 9:00 am will be Pak Anton’s parent workshop where he will talk about life after school for our students and the challenges and opportunities they will face as they move from one important phase of their lives to the next. Please contact our Marcomm office to secure your seat at this informative seminar.

Finally, this Saturday 23rd, will be the school production “Three Idiots”. The performance is free for all, however you must pick up a ticket prior from the High School admin. Let’s support our talented students and have a wonderful evening of entertainment.

Have a great week.
