Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,
It was a real pleasure to work with our student representatives at our combined Senior Leadership Team meeting last week. The students made special contributions regarding the learner profile attributes of caring and reflective. It was wonderful to note the widespread consultation and depth of thought that had been put into their presentations. Student leadership is in very good hands!
We continue to work through different types of simulations as we move towards a full reopening of the school. As we stated earlier it is more than likely that there will be changes to plans as the Ministry fine tunes its requirements of schools. It is highly likely that the High School will have to change the times of day for classes in order to accommodate requirements. We will communicate any changes during the week so that we can start the next week with the new structure.
A selected group of Grade 8 and 5 students will be trailing the new national assessment this week. We look forward with interest to see how this new assessment turns out and are confident that our students will have the capacity and willingness to do a wonderful job. At this stage it is just a trail intended to streamline systems.
Once again, we have a busy week. Keep a look out for school communications and please try to be flexible as requirements for re-opening change, sometimes on a daily basis! Once again be aware of the incredible discount on the DPP as part of the Ciputra Group’s 40th Anniversary.
Have a great week.
