Dear Parents, students, teachers and Sekolah Ciputra community,

The Easter period provides us all with a period of reflection and renewal. The capacity to stop and take stock of ourselves, make changes and enjoy new beginnings is an important part of our human condition and contributes to our well-being. We hope that the break provided you with such an opportunity. As a school we hope that staff and students have taken the opportunity to reflect on their progress and development and put in place steps to improve it. This is particularly apt for our grade 12 students who have five or fewer lessons before they begin their examinations!

Congratulations to everyone who was involved in the HS edition of Ciputra’s Got Talent. This was a wonderful event with fabulous acts and massive enthusiasm from the participants, the crowd, as well as the judges.  Congratulations to everyone who entered and well done to the six finalists as well as the first winner Shannon Melody. It was a great occasion.

We have events happening thick and fast ahead of us. The school cross country and the upcoming HS camps being two of these. It is wonderful to finally have our students going on camp after a three-year hiatus. This is not the normal time we organise camps but we have included them this academic year as we felt our students needed to have the experience. Education outside the classroom has many benefits and helps students to develop independence, problem solving skills and resilience. We will return to our normal end of term one slot next year.

Have a great week.
