I was really pleased and proud of the involvement of the teachers and students for Pancasila Day. The occasion was a wonderful formal way of demonstrating pride in the national identity. Pride in oneself and one’s country gives a solid base from which to build an understanding and acceptance of the customs and ways of other cultures and races. It helps you to appreciate them whilst at the same time recognising what makes you the person you are. To be truly international you need to be secure in your own nationality.

This week, High School students have their final examinations. This will give a good understanding of the level at which they are achieving and what steps need to be taken next.

The week ends with the Grade 10 Completion ceremony. This will provide a great opportunity to celebrate the success of our students in completing their MYP. Congratulations in anticipation to all those wonderful Grade 10’s.

Have a great week.
