Dear Parents, students, teachers and Sekolah Ciputra community

Congratulations to our grade 12 students who finished their examinations on Friday. They have had a difficult time in their preparations, being online for all of grade 11 and in hybrid mode for the beginning of this year. I think that they have probably had the most difficult build up for examinations of any cohort we have had and so we are very proud of their efforts and hopefully their achievements will match. That they reached the end of the year in such good shape bears testament to their tenacity and resilience. They now get to experience their first camp in three years followed by their final assembly and then finally their graduation.

The cross country was a wonderful event. It was fabulous to have schools visiting our campus again and also seeing our students running so well. It was also lovely to have so many parents in supporting their children and (often) running too.

Congratulations to Ellaina and Vanessa who have been voted STUCO President and Vice President respectively. They have succeeded in what was a very rigorous selection programme. We look forward to their tenure in 2023-2024. They will play a big role in the running of the school, attending the senior leadership meetings once a month as well as helping write the new strategic plan. We look forward to hearing who will be the OSIS President and Vice President.

Thank you to all the staff as well as the many students and parents who came into the school on Friday to give us feedback on the WASC mid-cycle review. It is hard to believe that we are already half way through our membership, but it is great to compare where we are now compared with where we were and just how much we have improved.

Good luck to the Grade 10 and 11 students for their examinations this week and we hope OSIS has a successful prom next Saturday.

Have a great week.
