Dear students, staff, parents, alumni and the whole Sekolah Ciputra community,

Grade 10 and 11 examinations are over. We hope that the information and insight gained from this experience will help shape conversations about how to strengthen understanding and how to improve subject performance. These results along with summative results from across the continuum will be used as an important data point for the reports that will go out at the end of the semester.  There will then be the opportunity to discuss progress with teachers at the parent interviews scheduled for the 14th and 15th December in the PYP and the 15th in the HS. This represents a great learning opportunity.

Thank you to the 70 odd students, parents and teachers who came into the school on Saturday to implement some of the recycling/repurposing plans of our eco group. It has been really pleasing to embrace this initiative across the whole school community and also to see our eco teams planning and implementing their interventions.

In the final week of term, we have the latest iteration of our annual book week. It is called, “From page to stage,” and is a celebration of the arts.  The culmination of this is the performance scheduled for Ciputra Hall on the 13th which will showcase the talents of our students right across the continuum.

Congratulations to our students, Shannon Melody Singopranoto who won best female and Yurri Alvin Budi Kusomo third best male ambassadors for East Java at the SMA awards ably supported by Pak Ferry. It is wonderful to see our students representing their city so well.

Finally good luck to our IBDP music students who have their recital conference on Wednesday. This forms a critical part of their assessment and to demonstrate their practical skills to a wider audience. We wish them all the very best of luck.

Have a great week!
