Dear Parents, Students, Teachers and Staff,
The events of last Sunday have been difficult to understand and impacts us all. As a community, it is a time for us to think of those effected, and keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Our vision is one of hope for a positive future where tolerance prevails and diversity is celebrated.
This was one of the reasons why I was so impressed with the World Scholara��s Cup that was held in the school over the weekend. We hosted over 500 participants, support staff and guests for the Surabaya round. This was a celebration of internationalism, diversity and optimism. It demonstrated all that is good in our community. We will post a video, made by our students, of the event on the website.A� If you didn’t make it over the weekend, this will be a great opportunity to seeA� what a wonderful event it was.
At times like this, it is important to maintain an optimistic focus and continue to be kind and tolerant to others.
