1. How long were you in Sekolah Ciputra? Starting from what grade until what grade?
13 years, from PYP B to Grade 12.

2. After graduating from Sekolah Ciputra, where do you study? What is your major?
Bayes Business School, majoring in Business Management, Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship (BSc).

3. What did you do after graduating from university?
Right after graduating from university, I have decided to pursue working in the UK , mainly to the industry that I like the most, which is football.

4. What is your current occupation?
I’m a Retail Assistant at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club in the UK.

5. What was the biggest challenge of moving to a new country?
The most difficult part of moving was adjusting to the change in local social lifestyle. Adapting to a new social environment as a young adult is quite the challenge, particularly how people spend their free time. Coming from an Asian background, malls are the most preferable place to hangout, while British mainly meet at the pub or bar instead. But I am now getting used to the environment and enjoying the way people connect here.

6. What do you enjoy most about your new environment?
I’ve mostly enjoyed meeting people from such diverse backgrounds here in London. As one of the world’s most culturally diverse cities, it’s the perfect place to learn about different cultures while sharing my own. It is a pleasure to explore our cultural commons, which helped me appreciate both shared values and unique cultural differences.

7. In what way did Sekolah Ciputra contribute to your job right now?
Sekolah Ciputra provided the essential foundation for my career in London because it taught me how to work in the real business world, mainly educating us with a strong set of entrepreneurial values. Instead of just teaching theory, Sekolah Ciputra focused on practical skills through group projects, presentations, and exhibitions. These assignments help me develop critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills, which allows me to handle the fast-paced retail environment effectively. I apply these skills everyday, where I must stay calm and be proactive while handling busy match-day crowds. Using the problem-solving skills I developed at Sekolah Ciputra, I can deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced and high-pressure retail environment.

8. What was the best thing about Sekolah Ciputra? Tell us something memorable from your time at Sekolah Ciputra
Without a doubt, the best moment at Sekolah Ciputra was the Sekolah Ciputra Cup Football Tournament. Winning the tournament two years in a row is my most memorable achievement. I really miss our training sessions every Monday and Thursday during extracurricular hours to prepare for the Sekolah Ciputra Cup Tournament. I also really appreciated the school’s great facilities and the amazing support from the teachers, which made my time at Sekolah Ciputra even better.

9. What advice would you give to a graduating student?
Don’t be afraid to study abroad as it will likely be  one of the greatest experiences of your life. It is a chance to enjoy new things you would never experience back home and to meet great friends from different parts of the world. These are the potential moments that you will never forget about.

10. Would you recommend Sekolah Ciputra to others? If yes, what would you say about it?
I would definitely recommend Sekolah Ciputra because its educational system helps students to be well-prepared for their university study. Since Sekolah Ciputra embraces the IB programme, studying abroad feels much easier because you have already learned the essential academic skills needed in university. Even the way teachers give lessons is really supportive, ensuring that students are well-prepared and can succeed in their future studies.
