1. After graduating from Sekolah Ciputra, where do you study? What is your major?
-Bachelor Degree: W. P. Carey School of Business – Arizona State University and my major is Finance.
-Master Degree: Indiana University – Kelley School of Business and my major is Finance.

2. What did you do after graduating from university?
After completing my Bachelor Degree, I got the opportunity to work as a Credit Analyst at BNP Paribas for a year before going back to school for my Master Degree. I then worked as a Financial Analyst.

3. What is your current occupation?
I work as a Commercial Banking Analyst at Citi Indonesia in Jakarta.

4. As a Commercial Banking Analyst, what are the challenges? How do you overcome it?
First would be client relationship management, which is crucial in Commercial Banking. Although I have prior experience in Banking, my current role requires more contact with various individuals and institutions. Therefore, challenges such as demanding clients or managing conflicts often arise. Effective communication and regular engagement is required to overcome this challenge.
My second challenge would be the high volume of tasks and responsibilities. The nature of banking often involves tight deadlines and pressures to deliver accurate and timely work. To manage this challenge, effective time management is crucial. Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance, create schedules, and break down large projects into smaller manageable tasks.

5. What was the biggest challenge of moving to a new city?
Biggest challenge would be adapting and settling in a new city by myself. All of my family and most of my friends are based in Surabaya so settling here alone feels somewhat odd. And yes, the traffic is a whole new level.

6. What do you enjoy most about your new environment?
Hustle and Bustle. I like how it challenges me to get out of my comfort zone and always be the best of myself. I also get to meet a lot of new high-energy individuals here!

7. In what way did Sekolah Ciputra contribute to your job right now?
The rigorous IB Diploma has definitely prepared me for academic success. However, Sekolah Ciputra emphasizes holistic education, focusing not only on academic excellence but also on character development, leadership skills, and community engagement. While having a strong technical skill is a must, traits such as integrity, honesty, leadership skills, and customer-centric approach are crucial in the banking sector.
The school also encourages us to become lifelong learners, which is particularly beneficial in the banking industry since it is continuously evolving. Staying updated with industry trends, new financial products, and changing regulations is vital for bankers. The mindset of a lifelong learner enables me to embrace innovation and seek out opportunities for professional development.

8. What was the best thing about Sekolah Ciputra? Tell us something memorable from your time at Sekolah Ciputra
Aside from academic-wise, I like how we have a lot of Extracurricular Activities and Community Engagement events throughout our academic years. During my senior year in High School, I remember helping one of my best friends set up a charity food bazaar.  This humble experience not only contributed to my personal development, but instilled a sense of empathy and social awareness.

9. What advice would you give to a graduating student?
As you embark on this exciting journey beyond the walls of academia, remember that this is a time of transition, exploration, and self-discovery. Embrace the unknown with curiosity and enthusiasm. Stay true to your passions, for they will fuel your journey. Seek connections and build relationships with others, for they will be your support system and catalysts for success.

10. Would you recommend Sekolah Ciputra to others? If yes, what would you say about it?
Yes! As I mentioned above, Sekolah Ciputra aims to provide high-quality education through the IB Diploma Curriculum while following a strong values and philosophy on character development and community engagement.
I believe while academic excellence can open doors and provide a strong foundation, it is also essential to recognize and develop other facets of personal and professional development to achieve holistic success in life.

I enjoy having a coffee chat with my friends or hanging out in a coffee shop while reading my book. I also try to stay active by doing pilates or going for a walk with my dog.
