Dear students, staff, parents, alumni and the whole Sekolah Ciputra community,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. We look forward to another wonderful year where we help build our students towards a bright future.  Congratulations to Spencer Bin Da Jiang and Sheryn Salim who gained grades of 41 and 40 respectively in the IBDP examinations. This is a world class result made much more difficult by the fact that they were in an online learning situation for 5 of their 8 terms completing the diploma. Despite this they have produced wonderful results and the whole community should be proud of the fact that once again our graduating cohort achieved an average significantly above the world one.  Congratulations to the students and their teachers.

There is extensive work going on in the school site. Some of this is ongoing as the projects are large. You will note the refurbishment of the front of the school. The lights on the field will facilitate the use of the field at night.  More work has gone into the HS technology area with a new robotics room and a complete refurbishment of the kitchen to facilitate the development of food technology. The old PYP playground is being replaced with two new playgrounds for continuum use including one financed by last year’s OSIS team. A new entrepreneurship block is also being built. These ongoing projects will cause some disruption, but this is well worthwhile as we ensure our facilities continue to be of the highest standard.

Welcome to all new staff, students and their families to the Sekolah Ciputra community. Sekolah Ciputra is a warm and nurturing place that values the individual and places a premium upon community, good manners and open communication. We know you will enjoy your time here and along with the wider community enjoy the challenges of the year.  Finally, the vision board currently features pictures of all the graduations and completion ceremonies held at the end of last year. The challenge for everyone is to use these pictures to help visualise where you want to be by the end of the year.  We challenge everyone to begin the year with the end in mind so that you can put in place the effort and gather the support that you need to succeed.

Have a great year.
