Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

Last Friday I sent a message out to say we will remain the online teaching until the end of this academic school year.  We are planning for re-opening for face-to-face teaching at the start of the next school year, currently scheduled for the 27th July.  I have no doubt that when we re-open we will have to be flexible to ensure safety and to adhere to guidelines and instructions from the Health and Education Ministries. We are likely to see a hybrid combination of face-to-face and online teaching as we move into what is being called the “new normal.”  Rest assured that we have a team in place to ensure that we will open safely and efficiently once we are allowed to and that we will continue to maintain close communication to you and our community.

The other message we are sending out is the need for us to maintain our focus and positivity over these last two school weeks. There are a huge number of tasks to be achieved and we need to ensure that we all make our best effort to get the best outcomes possible. We have done extraordinarily well during this period and it is very important that we finish strongly. Look forward to a job well done and the wonderful feeling that comes as a result of successful hard work.

Have a great week!

Martin Blackburn
