Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

We received the wonderful news on Friday afternoon that we have been accredited for WASC, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.  WASC is a dual-purpose process for schools to demonstrate that they provide high-quality learning and model continual self-improvement. We were equally delighted that this accreditation is for a period of five years, the maximum possible. This is pleasing because it means that WASC are confident in our capacity to learn and grow as a school.

Putting this alongside our five “A” ratings form the Indonesian Ministry and our full IBO re-authorisation for the PYP, MYP and IBDP programmes, it demonstrates the commitment that we have to building a culture of excellence through continual improvement. The self-study process provided us with invaluable insight into our school and its needs. We want to share this with our community and will organise a parent workshop to go over the recommendations of the committee and discuss how we will advance the progress of the school moving forward. Congratulations to all the teams and individuals who worked so hard to make this accreditation possible.

The timing of this announcement, so close to our special Chinese New Year Open Day, could not be any better. Please take advantage of the Open Day offers and also take the opportunity to recommend Sekolah Ciputra to your friends and family. The school is going from strength to strength and we look forward to continuing to progress.

Have a great week.
