Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

This week the school will celebrate Bulan Bahasa. This is coinciding with Youth Pledge Day which will be celebrated on 28th October. The Sumpah Pemuda-Youth Pledge, promulgated on 28th October, 1928 and is as significant today as it was then. The phrase, “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, different but one,” is a call for unity within this diverse nation. The Youth Pledge is to share “one homeland, one nation, one language: Indonesia.”

As a school with a school vision that begins, “Students of Sekolah Ciputra are proud of their national identity…” the relevance is obvious. Our celebrations this week demonstrate this pride and our commitment to the homeland, the nation and the language: Indonesia. The Elementary and the High school have many activities planned and look out for the special video that MARCOMM is preparing.

Our shared purpose and energy as exemplified by our school vision is what unifies us as an organisation that learns and grows together.

Have a great week.
