Dear parents, students, staff and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,
What a wonderful sight it was to see our new elementary playgrounds arrive. They had been held up in transit and we had cleared the old playground in preparation for their arrival. They are now being assembled ready for student use. The great news is that we are replacing one playground with two. This is thanks to the generosity of the 2022-2023 OSIS team who donated the money for the purchase of one of the playgrounds. We will have an opening ceremony that will help us to pay tribute to these students and acknowledge their service. What a wonderful way for them to be remembered in perpetuity.
Parent meetings are continuing this week with the grade seven parents meeting tonight. The level of communication has been wonderful. We have written before that this close relationship between the school and the parents is one of the many things that make us special. A reminder to all parents about the PSG AGM on the 8th. The schedule for the remaining parent meetings is:
- Grade 7 Parent Meeting on Monday, August 7thfrom 3:00-4:00 pm
- Grade 8 Parent Meeting on Wednesday, August 9th from 3:00-4:00 pm
- Grade 9 Parent Meeting on Thursday, August 10thfrom 3:00-4:00 pm
- Grade 10 Parent Meeting on Friday, August 11thfrom 3:00-4:00 pm
- Grade 11 and 12 Parent Meeting on Wednesday, August 16thfrom 3:00-4:00 pm
Both the senior boys’ and senior girls’ basketball teams have must win games this week if they are to proceed to the next round. Please come and support them so that they have every possible advantage heading into the games. Your support means a lot to the teams and the cheerleaders. The junior girls had a very tough game over the weekend.
