Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,
It has been another positive and engaging week across the school, with a continued focus on strong relationships and meaningful learning. Our High School parent–teacher interviews have provided a valuable opportunity for students, parents and teachers to come together, reflect on progress, and set clear goals for the remainder of the term. These conversations are an important part of our commitment to partnership and ensuring that every student is supported to achieve their best.
Over the weekend, we were delighted to see the successful participation of our High School junior boys’ and girls’ teams in Bali. The team represented the school with pride, demonstrating teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship. This was an international club tournament with schools for Australia, the Philippines and India. We were the only school team and while we did not feature in the finals both teams registered wins in an international tournament. We continue to raise the bar in terms of sporting experiences and achievement.
As we approach the end of the Easter period, we would like to wish all members of our community a joyful and peaceful Easter. At Sekolah Ciputra, we take pride in honouring the principles of Pancasila, particularly in recognising and respecting the rich diversity of beliefs within our community. By acknowledging and celebrating the important holy days of different religions, we reinforce our commitment to mutual respect, understanding and harmony. These values are central to who we are as a school and are reflected in the way our students learn to be open-minded, caring and principled individuals.
Looking ahead to next week, our Grade 10 students will undertake their Work Experience Week. This is a significant opportunity for students to engage with the world beyond school, gaining insight into professional environments and developing practical skills. It reinforces an important message: that we learn not only for school, but for life. Through these experiences, students begin to understand how their learning connects to future pathways, responsibilities and opportunities.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and partnership in creating a positive and purposeful learning environment.
Have a great week!
Martin Blackburn
Executive Principal
