Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

I hope you all enjoyed the Chinese New Year break.

The school celebrated in style with magnificent assemblies in both the Elementary and High Schools. Once again, a wonderful array of talent was on display. It was a truly impressive experience as the students demonstrated their multilingual skills. Thank you very much to all the participants as well as the Mandarin Department for their organisation. Photos of these events are on the website and will be on the vision board in the canteen by the end of the week.

Next week sees the IBDP mock examinations begin. This is the dress rehearsal for the DP examinations and will be especially useful for students to identify areas of weakness and hone study skills. Students have been made well aware of our academic honest policy and processes which are in place to ensure valid and reliable assessments.

Finally, we have had word from our local Diknas Office and neighbouring schools that students at Sekolah Ciputra may have their phones inspected by educational officials to ensure that the content of their phones is compliant with Indonesian law. Positive cyber-citizenship is encouraged here in the school.
