News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,

It has been another exceptionally busy and successful week across our school community, with students continuing to demonstrate leadership, creativity and academic commitment.

One of the highlights of the week was the highly successful Round the World Bazaar, which brought energy and enthusiasm to the campus. The event showcased student initiative, entrepreneurship and teamwork, while also creating a vibrant sense of community. It was wonderful to see students taking ownership of the event and applying practical skills in a real-world context, reflecting the spirit of innovation and agency that we value so highly at Sekolah Ciputra.

Our IBDP examinations also continued throughout the week, and we commend our Grade 12 students for the resilience and determination they continue to show during this demanding period. Their focus and perseverance are to be admired, and we thank our staff and families for the ongoing support being provided to them.

We also enjoyed a delightful Grade 1 assembly, where our younger learners confidently showcased their learning and enthusiasm. These assemblies are always a joyful reminder of the importance of student voice and the pride students take in sharing their growth with the wider community.

STUCO hold their elections on Monday, with results to be confirmed shortly. The election process itself has been an excellent demonstration of student agency and democratic participation. Through campaigning, presenting ideas and engaging respectfully with peers, students gain valuable leadership experience and a deeper understanding of responsibility and representation.

The major event of the week was undoubtedly the World Scholar’s Cup, hosted here at Sekolah Ciputra. It was wonderful to welcome students from a range of schools for this internationally recognised academic competition. The event challenged students across multiple disciplines while also fostering collaboration, communication and international-mindedness. We are proud of all of our participants and grateful to the staff and student organisers who made the event such a success.

Looking ahead, next week marks the conclusion of the DP examinations, while also signalling the beginning of an important assessment period for many other students. Grade 7–9 final summative tasks commence, along with the Grade 10 and 11 examinations. We encourage all students to remain focused, balanced and proactive in seeking support where required.

We also look forward to another Parent Empowerment Workshop on the 19th, continuing our commitment to strong partnerships between school and home.

Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support and positivity during this very full and productive period of the school year.

Have a great week!
