News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,

Thank you to everyone in the PYP that helped out with the EY accreditation visit last week. It was a lot of work, but the feedback we received from the visitors was positive and we look forward to the final results. This week we have 43 Grade 12 students taking various TKA exams this week in the high school. Thursday we’ll also have 35 Grade 7 and 10 students having medical check ups in the nurse’s room. We will also begin the Grade 10 Pathways Interviews this week, so please help to ensure students know where they need to be at which times.

Our PYP Soccer Team will play a friendly match against SIS this Monday afternoon, starting at 3:30, so please come out to cheer them on. Our PYP A students will go on an outing to PMK Wiyung this week as well. We’ll have our Executive Principal’s Forum take place this Thursday afternoon, and we are hosting the November SAT exam on Saturday morning.

This week’s article is about school culture, and trying to ensure everyone embraces a “100%” culture, where we believe all students are able to achieve certain goals we set for them. Here are the English and Indonesian video summaries as well. As I’ve said throughout the school year, we are reflecting on what has taken place over the past 30 years to get us to where we are today as a school, but more importantly, we are imagineering what we want our school to be 30 years from now. The culture of the school community has a huge impact on this, and it is something I would like us to pay more attention to as we move forward. We will have our next Dream and Do Crew meeting this Wednesday, so we’ll use this article as part of that conversation.

I hope everyone has a great week ahead!
