Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,
Congratulations to everyone involved with the amazing PYP 6 Exhibition. The quality of learning on display was fantastic. It was great that we were able to represent ourselves as a centre of excellence in education by hosting six visiting schools who came to see the presentations. Friday evening was a wonderful experience. The assembly was polished and the students were passionate and confident. Afterwards all parents, teachers and visitors were invited to the exhibition. It was inspirational to watch and listen to the students. They were knowledgeable about their projects and were able to capture their audience with their enthusiasm for their respective topics. It really was a continuum event with staff and students from across the school supporting it. Well done, in particular to the Grade 6 teaching team and all the wonderful students.
Good luck to our Grade 12 students who have their mock examinations this week. This is the dress rehearsal for the real thing. The IBDP examinations will be upon us soon. For Grade 12 students, this is the culmination of two year’s hard work. The mock exams is a valuable source of feedback for them in their final preparations.
This Friday, 14th is an Open Day in the Pre-Elementary. I hope you can come along and enjoy some of the events and morning talks. The Open Day will run from 8am – 12pm and is coordinated by our wonderful MARCOMM team. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact one of our team members.
Finally, please be careful in the face of the very difficult traffic conditions coming into CitraLand. As mentioned last Friday, the government are holding their annual recruitment tests in the Graha Stadium and this is expected to go through to the 26th February. Together with the road works, it has been challenging to enter and leave CitraLand! Please adjust your travelling times to ensure you arrive in plenty of time for the start of school.
Also we will continue to brief you on any updates on the Corona Virus. As yet there is no further information to give. Stay calm – yet be alert.
Have a great week.
