Last Saturday we administered entrance tests to prospective students. I spoke to some of the parents and one mentioned how much more rigorous and difficult the testing process is. I was proud to reply that this is because the academic standard of our students has risen to a degree where we have had to raise the entry requirement. It is pleasing to see these signs of improvement throughout the school and very easy to feel proud of our entire community.

I look forward to seeing you at our Creative Arts Festival tomorrow (Tuesday, 12th) from 5pm. This is an action packed event showcasing the arts in the school.AThis project is a collection of multiple projects that has flowered across the school this semester, while also including a fewAAsamples of student work from last year. It is a snapshot into the creative energy, imagination and sense of community that the Creative Arts are fostering at our school. FromA7pmAinside the hall,A be entertained, moved and grooved by students and staff of Sekolah Ciputra.

Take a look at the student work on the bandstand websiteAhttps://sekolahciputramusic.bandcamp.com/

Thank you very much to all the staff and students who have worked so hard on this event.

On the theme of working hard, I hope all students take the opportunity of the upcoming holiday break to reflect upon their reports and think critically about how they can improve. Time spent this way is invaluable helping us to focus on both our strengths and weaknesses with an eye for improvement in the New Year.

The New Year will see the opening of our new Pre-Elementary building, the launch of our new website, as well as the beginning of our strategic planning process. I believe we can look to the future with great confidence. I want to take this opportunity to thank the Sekolah Ciputra community for their enthusiasm and commitment throughout the semester. Our staff, students, the Parent Support Group and the wider community have all interacted positively helping to build our school.

I wish you all a safe and happy holiday break. Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
