Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,
It has been another full and exciting week at Sekolah Ciputra, with a wide range of activities reflecting our mission to develop well-rounded, globally-minded individuals who are proud of their Indonesian heritage.
Last Friday’s teacher-only day gave staff a valuable opportunity to engage in professional collaboration. Teams worked on a number of important projects, including the WASC accreditation report, moderation of student work samples, and a comprehensive child protection training course from an international provider. We are committed to continuous professional growth and maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment for all students.
Over the weekend, Sekolah Ciputra hosted the Surabaya round of the World Scholars’ Cup, welcoming over 900 enthusiastic participants from across the region. A special thank you goes to the many staff who generously gave their time to support the event—it was a wonderful showcase of academic passion, teamwork and international engagement.
Looking ahead, this Thursday evening we celebrate a major milestone—the Grade 12 Graduation Ceremony. Many of our graduates have been with us since their early school years, and it will be a proud moment as they take the next step, officially becoming members of our alumni community. We also have OSIS elections taking place, Senior Prom Night, and a transition day for our PYPB students as they prepare for the exciting move into Grade 1.
Sunday 1st June marked Pancasila Day, an opportunity for our school community to reflect on the foundational values of Indonesia. These five principles align closely with our school’s mission and vision—particularly the emphasis on unity in diversity, social justice and integrity. Through days like this, we continue to foster students who are rooted in national identity while embracing their place in the global community.
Have a great week!
