News From the Executive Principal’s Desk

This week saw a significant milestone for our Grade 6 students as they took the first step towards entry into the High School. They went for their transition day to the High School experiencing the classes and routines that will see them on their journey through the MYP and up into the senior High School. This change requires a lot from the students. There is a demand that they develop more self-directed independent study skills and that they start to focus upon what life after school may look like. The Elementary does an outstanding job preparing them with the skills and attributes of life long learners- you only had to experience their outstanding PYP exhibition to realise this. Their learning journey continues on into the High School where I believe given the wonderful foundation they have received they will continue to enjoy success and develop into the well rounded internationally minded students of which we are so proud.

Have a great week
