On Wednesday, August 16^th, 2017 students and staff in the PYP spent the morning learning about and celebrating the 72^ndA�anniversary of Indonesiaa��s Independence. The morning started with a flag raising ceremony, a short movie about Indonesiaa��s independence and reading of the constitution and the Pancasila. The rest of the morning was spent playing traditional games and reflecting on the meaning of Independence Day. Everyone was dressed in red and white to symbolize the colours of the Indonesian flag.
