Full Name – Nickname

Joshua Christian Setioso  AKA Josh

Graduating year at Sekolah Ciputra

2014

Where did you go to university? What did you study? Can you please share your experience applying to the uni?

UNSW, Australia. Bachelor of Architectural Studies.

Applying was simple and straightforward. Submittions using solely the IB Diploma satisfies the required list of certificates as it is weighed and translated directly into Australia’s ATAR grading system. Because the score requirement is specified on the university’s publications, it allowed me to set a clear target score to achieve the minimum conditions.

What kind of work/business do you do? In what way did the school contribute to your job right now?

Architect and General Contractor.

The school’s curriculum challenged me with my problem solving skills and also prepared me with university-level tasks such as thesis writing and advanced learning materials, building familiarity and comfort in university and postgraduate stages. Additionally, the international attribute of SC extends my perspective globally.

What advice would you give to a graduating student?

Learn to hear positive and negative feedback and don’t dwell too long in it. Instead consider it, take what works, and move on. Life keeps moving forward.

What was the best thing about Sekolah Ciputra? Tell us something memorable from your time at Sekolah Ciputra.

One of Sekolah Ciputra’s unique traits is providing a good balance of traditional studies, interactive communal activities and events, and building personal health and mind wellness.

One of my memorable moments at Sekolah Ciputra is the yearly Swimming Carnival events.

Would you recommend Sekolah Ciputra to others? If yes, what would you say about it?

Yes, SC taught me practical things; the things we learned are still relevant today.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy expressing my creativity by sketching to keep the clutter of ideas manifested, and also playing the piano to experiment new ideas and unwind.

Anything else you would like to share?

Be thankful for your teachers, friends and families. The opportunities which have been given to you are special.
