News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,

On Saturday, our National Honor Society (NHS) organised a fantastic colour run fest that brought our community together in a fun and meaningful way. The event featured an exciting run, water balloon fights, various activities, and a lively bazaar. It was wonderful to see so many students, teachers, and parents participating. Most importantly, all funds raised will be donated to charity, reinforcing our commitment to service and social responsibility.

Looking ahead, we are excited for the upcoming Ciputra Cup basketball competition for both junior and senior teams. Organised by our student leadership group, OSIS, this event not only provides an opportunity for our athletes to showcase their skills but also fosters leadership and sportsmanship. These qualities align closely with our school vision, which emphasises integrity, resilience, and collaboration in all aspects of student life.

Additionally, our senior girls’ basketball team will be competing in the Spartan Cup, while our football teams will participate in the SNA Futsal competition. Our senior badminton teams are also preparing for the SNS badminton competition. We wish all our student-athletes the best as they represent Sekolah Ciputra with pride and determination.

Beyond sports, our university visits continue over the next two weeks, providing valuable opportunities for our students to engage with representatives from institutions worldwide. So far this year, we have welcomed over 115 universities from Indonesia and beyond, reflecting our strong commitment to preparing students for their future academic journeys.

Finally, our Grade 12 students will begin their mock examinations next week. These assessments are a crucial step in their IB Diploma Programme journey, allowing them to experience exam conditions and refine their understanding before their final assessments.

With so many exciting events and academic commitments, this is an excellent time to reflect on the importance of balance—one of the key attributes of the IB Learner Profile. Our students are encouraged to engage in a wide range of activities while maintaining their well-being and academic responsibilities. Balance is essential to lifelong success, and we are proud to see our students embracing this challenge with enthusiasm.

Thank you for your continued support.

Have a great week!
