News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,

It has been another busy and productive week across the school, with a strong focus on preparation, participation and student leadership.

Our Grade 10 students have successfully completed their Work Experience Week, gaining valuable insights into professional environments and developing important life skills. This experience reinforces our belief that learning extends beyond the classroom and helps students better understand future pathways. At the same time, our Grade 9 students completed their examinations, which were carefully designed to mirror senior exam conditions. This is an important step in preparing students not only academically, but also in understanding and adhering to our very clear expectations around academic integrity. Developing these habits early is essential in building principled and responsible learners.

Over the weekend, we were delighted to host the Ciputra Cup High School Badminton Tournament, an event organised by our students and supported by our dedicated staff volunteers. The level of organisation, participation and sportsmanship was excellent, once again highlighting the strength of student agency within our school. We also hosted the JISMO Spring Competition, providing another valuable platform for students to challenge themselves academically and engage with peers from other schools.

Looking ahead, the week is dominated by our school production of Beauty and the Beast. This promises to be a truly special event, involving students from across the continuum in a wide variety of roles including acting, music, set design, props, make-up, lighting and sound. Productions such as this are a wonderful example of holistic education in action. They foster creativity, collaboration, resilience and confidence, while also building a strong sense of community. We strongly encourage all members of our community to attend and support what will no doubt be an outstanding performance.

In addition, we will host a Parent Empowerment Workshop, continue with PSAT examinations, and see our Grade 5 students depart for their camp at Kaliandra — another valuable opportunity for experiential learning and personal growth.

Thank you, as always, to our students, staff and families for contributing to the rich and dynamic life of Sekolah Ciputra.

Have a great week!
