8. In what way did Sekolah Ciputra contribute to your job right now?
One of the learning profiles I studied in Sekolah Ciputra is to be Knowledgeable. I think a part of being knowledgeable means having the desire to know more, to continue to learn and grow while also being open-minded to new things that can be presented in the future.
9. What was the best thing about Sekolah Ciputra? Tell us something memorable from your time at Sekolah Ciputra
Long story short, the Sekolah Ciputra Cup is one of the greatest legacies I proudly make sure the school continues until this day. In grade 7, I felt highly disappointed because the annual football event that my senior started, won’t be in the plans of the newest student council. I waited until the next year without any results, so I took it into my own hands when I was in grade 9 in 2012. Even though I was not elected in the student council I remember vividly saying this matter to my teachers and making a pitch to the entire student council team that I would make the event with or without their support. Fast forward, with the support of the school, my loyal footballing friends, the teachers and finally the student council, the Sekolah Ciputra Cup once again kicked off on the 25-27th October 2012. Fast forward to my senior year, in my continued service to the student council, the Sekolah Ciputra Cup got bigger and bigger. We got to name the field The Eagle’s Nest and now what started out as only a footballing event, it became a sporting event of different types of sports altogether.
10. What advice would you give to a graduating student?
Be open-minded, explore the world with its endless possibilities, don’t be afraid to take risks, to step outside of your comfort zone, make mistakes and have fun. One of the most memorable moments in my life is when I gave my last farewell to my father before leaving for university, when he hugged me and said “this is the beginning of your story, your time starts now”.
11. Would you recommend Sekolah Ciputra to others? If yes, what would you say about it?
I would recommend Sekolah Ciputra to others as Sekolah Ciputra gave me the foundation and basic principles I needed for my university and in life. It is not just about the curriculum that helped me in my further education but the value of the community and the networking that I built in Sekolah Ciputra, has been very beneficial for my future.
12. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Lately, I spend my free time playing with my 1 year old malamute, Belle. She keeps me company, always nice to have someone be very appreciative of your presence no matter what your mood is.
