With an aspiration to help those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic, we, Grade 11-6 were keen to raise awareness of the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia, particularly in Surabaya. We have not only started our own Instagram account (@116forindonesia) to reach out to wider audiences, but we have also dedicated our time and effort for the past two months in gathering donations from avid parents, students, friends, teachers and staff of Sekolah Ciputra.

As of 15th May 2020, we have raised a total of Rp. 16,485,427. With the donations, we were able to purchase 80 pieces of medical-grade personal protective equipment, which were donated to Universitas Airlangga and its associated hospitals on 18th May. We will not be stopping there. We are also looking forward to working together with our fellow Grade 11-9 in expanding our capabilities to make a change in our local communities.
