“I would recommend Sekolah Ciputra. The facilities were great and the IBDP is a great tool that is highly-recognised internationally.”
CLARISSA LILANANDA
GRADUATED: 2021
1. How long were you in Sekolah Ciputra? Starting from what grade until what grade?
I was in Sekolah Ciputra for only two years, but a great two years regardless. I enrolled into Sekolah Ciputra at Year 11, which was the start of the IB Diploma Program.
2. After graduating from Sekolah Ciputra, where do you study? What is your major?
King’s College London majoring in International Relations.
3. Can you please share your experience applying to university?
I took a gap year after high school, and that allowed me to gain some more perspective. Applying to university was a relatively straightforward process for me, I applied through UCAS with my final grades, and just selected the majors and which schools I wanted to apply to. No need for agents or anything! All the information needed is free online.
4. What do you expect to do after graduating from university?
I expect to find work in a field I find rewarding, and if anything, studying International Relations at King’s College London has shown me how big the world is, and how many different industries you can get exposed to. Living in London has also been a huge change for me, but I like the hustle and bustle of a big city.
5. In what way did Sekolah Ciputra contribute to who you are right now?
Sekolah Ciputra has taught me a lot about the importance of maintaining a social life, outside of academics. Grades are important for sure, but maintaining connections with peers is just as important! I’ve made so many friends for life from the school, which I’m eternally grateful for.
6. What was the best thing about Sekolah Ciputra? Tell us something memorable from your time at Sekolah Ciputra
The facilities at Sekolah Ciputra were great. I have really fond memories of relaxing in the library with my friends, during lunch or study periods.
7. What advice would you give to a graduating student?
If they’re taking the IB Diploma, I strongly encourage you to do the best you can to get those top grades. The IBDP is a great tool that is highly-recognised internationally, and it can really open a lot of doors for you, in the sense of options of which universities you get to apply to.
8. Would you recommend Sekolah Ciputra to others? If yes, what would you say about it?
I would recommend Sekolah Ciputra. If a prospective student or parent is serious about studying in Sekolah Ciputra, I would say it is crucial to come in knowing what you want out of the experience.
9. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love visiting museums and art galleries, as well as traveling. Anything to do with learning about different cultures is enjoyable for me.
