Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

Thank you all for demonstrating pride in our cultural identity by attending the virtual flag ceremony. I have enjoyed seeing pictures of hundreds of our students and staff attending. Revisiting what we wrote last week, it is very appropriate to take the time to remember the commitment and sacrifices of others that have helped us to enjoy living the life we do today.

It is nice to see the online programme working so well. We have had lots of constructive feedback and continue to gather it right across the continuum. There are signs that we will begin the gradual re-opening of the school starting with the senior high school, we will share these important details soon.

More good news, we have just received our final IBO examination results.  We are pleased to say that our average score was an excellent 32.5 whilst our pass rate was 97.4% which is our highest ever. I am also pleased to say that Ryan Tanadi has ended up with a final grade of 41, up from the original, (and outstanding) 40!

A final reminder that this is a short week, with the school only open for teaching and learning on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday is a holiday and Friday a teacher only day where we will be focussing on our final WASC report as well as the online programme.

Have a great week!

Martin Blackburn

Executive Principal
