Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

It is great to be busy and things are definitely full on at the moment.

We hosted our Model United Nations over the weekend. Well done to all our students and staff who participated in the SCMUN. We have had a lot of positive feedback from both inside and outside the school community on how organised and professional the event was. Thanks to everyone who pitched in to make this a success.

Congratulations also to all the Grade 10 students for their amazing Personal Project exhibition. It is clear that the students all knew why and what they were learning and could make well thought out links to the real world. It is also clear that the spirit of entrepreneurship burns bright in our Grade 10’s.

The Grade 3 Summative and Mini-Project was an outstanding collaboration. It depicted the journey that staff and students have taken since last March.  It was both humorous and sad and really demonstrated the deep connections our students are making with the help of our committed teachers. Check out our video on this website.

The Grade 12 mock examinations are now over. Students must continue to work with their teachers in order to get their best predicted score. With two months to go before final submission of grades, a strong final effort is required.  We know you will do well.

The key event next week will be the PYP Exhibition which will be on display for parents on Friday afternoon. This is the accumulation of all the efforts the students have made during their journey through the PYP, and as such, is a wonderful learning occasion. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Have a great week!
