Dear students, staff, parents, alumni and the whole Sekolah Ciputra community,
It was enjoyable hearing about the experiences high school students had during their camp week. The sheer variety of activities was amazing and from the animation students demonstrated it is obvious that many have made happy memories that will last a lifetime. The mixture of education and real-world experiences is a potent one and really helps in the development of critical thinking, balance, resilience and the ability to form positive relationships. We look forward to hearing more about their experiences, seeing the photos and visitors and enjoying the positive impact that these experiences have.
This week is crunch time for our three basketball teams in the DBL. All of them have drawn very strong opponents who they will have to overcome if they are going to proceed in the competition. I am delighted to report that on Sunday the senior girls won an extra time thriller with Petra 1 to proceed to the next round. We hope that the junior and senior boys are on top of their games and are ready to give of their best.
The celebration of Peace Week in the school provided a great opportunity for us all to reflect on the contributions that we make towards peace and harmony. The elementary assembly was outstanding.
This is our last week before the end of term break. We hope that everyone is able to have a refreshing break but also know how important it will be to focus immediately upon return for the start of term 2.
Have a great week.
