News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,

It has been another exciting and enriching week at Sekolah Ciputra, full of meaningful experiences that reflect our school’s vision to develop successful learners who are confident, responsible and internationally-minded.

Last week, our Early Years students led the way in celebrating Earth Day. It was wonderful to welcome so many current and prospective parents into the school to take part in a wide range of fun and engaging activities. The event highlighted our youngest learners’ growing awareness of environmental responsibility, and the power of community involvement in shaping sustainable habits from an early age.

Another highlight was our parenting seminar, which focused on improving communication between parents and children. This well-attended session provided practical tools and insights, helping to strengthen the vital partnerships between home and school that support student wellbeing and development.

Looking ahead, the week promises to be equally vibrant. We are honoured to host a guest lecture on improving employability in the age of AI—an important topic as we prepare our students to thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape. Our high school students will also be participating in the cross-country event, a great opportunity to demonstrate resilience, teamwork, and the IB learner profile attribute of being balanced.

We also have a number of students sitting the MYP E-Assessment.  Congratulations to those students participating in this extra opportunity.  On Saturday another group of students from Sekolah Ciputra and outside schools will sit their SATs here.

Meanwhile, our PYP 2 students are eagerly preparing for their assembly, where they will share their learning journey with parents and peers. It is always a joy to see our young learners express themselves with growing confidence. Finally, our annual staff gathering will bring together our dedicated team for an evening of connection and celebration in a more relaxed setting—well deserved after a busy term.

All of these events reflect our shared commitment to nurturing thoughtful, future-ready individuals who engage meaningfully with the world around them.

Have a great week!
