Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,
It has been another exciting and eventful week at Sekolah Ciputra. The DP examinations are now well underway, and we commend our Grade 12 students for their focus and commitment. This is a demanding time for them, and we are proud of the calm and mature way they are managing their final assessments.
One of the standout highlights of the week was the High School cross country event. Well organised and well attended, it brought together students from multiple schools, and even some of our alumni joined in the fun! Sekolah Ciputra not only showed incredible school spirit with high participation but also performed extremely well in the results—congratulations to all involved.
The PYP 2 assembly was another joyful occasion, showcasing the students’ creativity, confidence, and communication skills. These events are a wonderful reminder of how our learners grow in line with the IB learner profile attributes, particularly as communicators, risk-takers, and reflective individuals.
Looking ahead, next week promises to be equally busy. We have both the PYP 1 and Grade 7 assemblies, which we’re sure will be full of energy and insight. There is also a PYP parents’ coffee morning—an excellent opportunity to connect with and engage with the learning journey. The PYP cross country and the PASS badminton tournament will give our students further opportunities to display perseverance, resilience and sportsmanship. Of course, the DP examinations continue as students steadily progress through their schedule.
At this time of the year, school life becomes increasingly full, with a wide range of events and commitments. While these activities are valuable and enriching, we also remind students that their main academic focus should be on completing their final summative tasks to the best of their ability. Time management, prioritisation, and a balanced approach will help ensure success.
Have a great week!
