Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

Last week I wrote about how important it is for all students to be properly prepared for their examinations this week. To summarise, it is essential that students undertake systematic revision and also prepare themselves by getting enough sleep. Expanding on this, it is also important that students use these examinations to help shine the light on areas that need improvement. While the examinations are important in their own right, they also provide great signals for the final examinations at the end of the year. One of the best uses of an examination paper is to highlight errors. Going through an examination paper and formulating questions to ask your teacher really maximises the gains that you will get from these exams.

Finally, all the very best to those who are involved in the Performing Arts Festival on the 18th. This will be another wonderful event that celebrates the arts and showcases the breadth and depth of the work our students undertake. Coming after the examinations, it will be a great way to finish the term.

Have a great week.
