Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,
Congratulations to everyone for their contribution to what has been a successful term and semester.
The school is in great shape and has continued to develop both academically and in the extra-curricular activities it offers. This weeks newsletter chronicles some of what’s been happening over the past term, but doesn’t have the capacity to enumerate the multitude of events that go on at the school. Keep an eye on our website and follow us on Instagram @sekolahciputra_official.
The great thing about our school is that we learn from the good and the not so good. During the recent examinations we felt that the integrity of one assessment had been compromised. The team involved immediately rescheduled the assessment and updated the assessment procedures. This is what learning is all about. Organisations will take every opportunity that presents itself to improve its systems and to maintain its integrity. People make mistakes. If there is a willingness to learn from those mistakes they can actually serve to strengthen an organisation.
All my very best wishes to those who are involved in the Creative Arts Festival on Wednesday and a special thanks to David Joseph, our artist in residence. Your contributions to our arts programme has been a fantastic experience for students, staff and audiences.
Finally, I wish everyone a very safe and happy Christmas and New Year. I look forward to seeing you all next semester. Have a great holiday!
