Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

Congratulations to all those involved in making the Elementary mathematics week such a success. It was wonderful to see the wide range of activities and celebrate the great job being done in making mathematical understanding more accessible to our students.

On Friday we had the pleasure of attending the High School assembly. It was focussed on celebrating the achievements of those students, as voted by their teachers, who most exemplified the IB learner profile. Congratulations to all those who were recognised as well as the other award winners. During the assembly Mr Rob spoke about the need for good manners and the steps that the school is taking to actively teach good manners.  This is an incredibly important skill, both morally and vocationally. In a world and workforce where collaboration and good relationships are important, the need for good manners is paramount.

This week sees the cumulation of two massive student exercises. On Wednesday our Grade 12 IBDP students will submit their extended essay, a fully referenced four-thousand-word piece of research. This is a very arduous activity and we are really impressed with the effort our students have made. This is followed on Friday by the PYP Exhibition where the PYP 6 students show-case their collaborative learning journey.  Congratulations to our students. Have a great week.
