Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

Congratulations to all the staff and students who participated in our amazing World Scholar’s Cup event over the weekend. This was the biggest ever Surabaya Regional World Scholar’s Cup, ably organised to the most minute detail by our staff and assisted by an army of volunteer teachers and students. The weekend was full of highlights, too many to individually mention. Suffice it to say though, our students did themselves proud both academically and socially. They proved that they have the important combination of intellectual and emotional intelligence that makes them so capable of participating in a changing global society. Well done everyone. You have helped create an event that will live long in our community memory.

Last week also saw our Grade 6 cohort take its first steps towards transitioning to High School. This is a huge step in the learning journey for our students. It is an opportunity to reflect upon what has been and refocus on the job ahead. Once again thank you to the staff who helped make the day such a success and the students who participated so willingly.
