PYP B are wrapping up the unit ‘Sharing the Planet’ and one of the lines of inquiry is about action and our role. What we have noticed is that the students do what the adults in their environment support or encourage them to do. In this case, turning off the lights and AC when not in the room, taking care of the plants etc.. ‘Going Green’ is a collective issue and the premise of this challenge was to take it out of the classroom and into everyday life. It makes it real and shows they can do something that makes a positive difference to our environment.
