It is with great pleasure that we welcome Ms Christine as our new Elementary Coordinating Principal. Christine is an Australian who has worked internationally for a number of years. She has been the Director of Elementary and Early Years at San Silvestre School in Peru for the last 10 years and so has a wealth of experience in education in general and specifically in elementary and pre-elementary. I personally had the great pleasure of working with Ms Christine back in 2008 in Doha, Qatar. Ms Christine was highly regarded as being an exceptional educator, a person that brings out the best in others, and a firm, fair yet good humoured leader.

Ms Christine also has a commitment to sustainability and will be invaluable in another of our school goals, which is to make Sekolah Ciputra even more environmentally friendly.

The beginning of the school year will be challenging, with classes remaining online and no guarantees about when our new expatriate staff will be able to enter Indonesia. I am delighted that we have someone of Christine’s stature to continue to grow the elementary and navigate these unusual times. Your first interactions with Ms Christine may be online but I know that they will be positive. Let’s ensure that we give her a very warm welcome to the Sekolah Ciputra family.
