What was the biggest challenge of moving to a new city/country?

Culture shock, making new friends, getting around, doing chores.

What did enjoy most about your new environment?

None at the beginning.

After getting involved in clubs and communities, I finally found a mentor/coach, then it got better and I ended up staying in Melbourne for 9 years.

What did you do after graduating?

I got as much experience as I could while overseas. I got to work in different fields even those unrelated to my degree.

I learnt how to network and establish my own venture with the locals and my international contacts.

Are you still doing that now?

Yes, I’ve expanded my skills to Indonesia too.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Sports and catching up with friends, library and parks while in OZ

Tell us something memorable from your time at Sekolah Ciputra.

Being sent as a global ambassador to GEYC (Global Environmental Youth Convention) to represent Indonesia, my first experience in interacting with foreigners for projects instead of holiday travel.

Participating in competitions in various subjects.

Involving myself with sports and performance activities.

Teachers that I can discuss and review subjects, since I was very academic back then.

This is just the beginning, fail forward and humble yourself so you get the most out of what the world can offer you.
