Graduation year: 2014

What university are you attending?

Universities Airlangga Surabaya

What are you studying?

Medicine / Fakultas Kedokteran Umum

What was the biggest challenge of moving to a new environment?

Adapting to totally new surroundings. Full of new people.

What do enjoy most about your new lifestyle?

Learning a new type of social life that I’ve never experienced before. People accept you with open arms and welcome you into their groups. Everyone is polite and respectful.

Here, at Universities Airlangga, where I study, they do not tolerate anyone that is rude or disrespectful. Also, you need to be dependent and not rely on others. Every day is study time. To be a good doctor you need to learn every single day, particularly for your patients – one mistake could change someone’s life. This is a huge responsibility that I take seriously. That’s why I need to be responsible about every choice I make or about to make. So, what do I enjoy most about my new lifestyle? It is that I continue to learn and because of this, the gate to a broader knowledge is opened.

What do you expect to do after graduating?

Well, I don’t know yet. But, I’m not sure I will continue this path. I don’t think this path is meant for me? I was so ambitious to enter the medical world at first but, as time goes on, I have started to change my mind. Not because I can’t cope with all the responsibilities of people’s lives in my hand, it’s just I don’t think I love doing this. I feel it is important to love what you do and this is something I am discovering now.

Are you still doing that now?

Well, I am now doing a new thing that I love in the middle of a hectic situation.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

So many pressures in the world, so the only thing that can help me to ease my mind is shopping lol

Tell us something memorable from your time at Sekolah Ciputra.

I am thankful for my time at Sekolah Ciputra. To all my teachers, my friends, my frenemies, I have beautiful memories that I will never forget.

What advice would you give to a graduating student?

What I would like to say is that no matter how good or bad your scores are during your Junior and High School life, and no matter what people say about you, you don’t have to feel like you are not good enough. You are the one who decides where you will end up. You are the one who knows what you’re capable of.

Also, while you are still in school, you might be thinking?I want to graduate as soon as possible?. But trust me, you don’t want to. Being at school is the best and you have some of the greatest times of your life here. In my opinion, there is no other place better than Sekolah Ciputra. When you leave school, you will face the real world which you would not even expect. I’m not trying to scare you. This school will be the best place you’ll ever rest your mind and body, BEFORE you find that place in life where you truly belong 🙂

Thank you for being part of my life.
